In 1997, 17-year-old student Daniel Malmedahl recorded himself impersonating the noises produced by internal combustion engines. He posted this on a website and caught the attention of a Swedish television researcher, who convinced Daniel to perform the sound live on air. After it debuted on television, recordings of his performance began appearing on file sharing networks and various websites under the filename "2TAKTARE.MP3" ("Tvåtaktare" is Swedish for "Two stroker").The sound was adopted as the sound of a formula one car as early as 2001 in the form of "Deng Deng Form" and later "The Insanity Test" both of which were a static background of a Ferrari Formula One car accompanied by the sound. However the sound was later adopted as that of a motorcycle for its most well known format.In late 2003, fellow Swede Erik Wernquist encountered the sound effect and, not knowing about the previous incarnations of the sound, was inspired to create the 3D animated character he named "The Annoying Thing" to accompany it. Wernquist worked on the first animation in his spare time using the LightWave 3D modeling application, and the whole process took between 6 to 8 weeks. In October 2003 he posted it on his website and on the CGTalk forum.The animation was a popular attraction at Erik's website, but the sound was credited to "Anonymous". Eventually, word reached Daniel that his impressions had been used in a now well-known animation. He contacted Erik, apparently giving an impromptu performance to confirm his claims. Erik was convinced, and gave credit to Daniel for his creation.The animation received attention through filesharing and word of mouth, and when Ringtone Europe and Jamster België (now both merged into Jamba!) got wind of this, realizing the monetary possibilities through capitalizing on the underground cult-status they licensed the rights to the creation, renaming it "Crazy Frog" and starting to market it in mid-2004.In an interview with HitQuarters Wernquist expressed his displeasure at the choice of name:“If I had known that this was going to be such a big thing I would not have allowed them to use that stupid name. It has nothing to do with the character. It’s not a frog and it’s not particularly crazy either”

The player assumes the role of one of several officers in the fictional Cobra 11 team, from the television series Alarm für Cobra 11 – Die Autobahnpolizei, a police unit in Germany assigned to patrol the Autobahn and other road networks. The player usually takes the role of either Chris or Semir, but there is one early mission where the player take the place of the "rookie" The officers are charged with stopping and questioning suspects about various criminal activities. The game presents the player with a series of fictional "cases" which need to be solved in order to progress. Cases are split into several missions which can be of the following types:

-Race - a straight race against a number of vehicles

-Pursuit - pursuing another vehicle followed by one of three actions:

-Maintaining a position alongside the vehicle

-Causing the vehicle to make a momentary stop Incapacitating the vehicle

-Shadowing - staying within two predefined distances away from a vehicle

-Navigation - finding a route past a number of checkpoints to reach a target destination

Between missions there are cut scenes that help to move the story along. The game takes place over two maps, one set on the Autobahn and in the countryside surrounding it, the other a city based area. There is traffic on the roads that the player must avoid.In addition to the "Cases", there is a mode in which the player can set up and engage in races against CPU controlled opponents using vehicles and tracks that are unlocked as the "Cases" are solved. These unlocked vehicles and tracks can also be used in local two to four human player races.The vehicles in the game that the player can unlock and use vary from standard road cars to coaches. There is only one licenced vehicle in the game, a Seat Leon, which can be unlocked both in a standard form and as a tuned version. Other vehicles include MPVs, small commercial vans, 4x4s, an armored vehicle and a limousine.

The game (now distributed as Die Original Moorhuhn Jagd) was developed by the Dutch Witan studios and the Art Department advertising agency as an advertisement for Johnnie Walker whisky in 1999. Imitating the Glorious Twelfth, the game's objective was to shoot down, through a point-and-click interface, as many cartoonish "swamp chickens" (German: Moorhühner; literally "moorhens", ie. willow grouses) as possible in 90 seconds.The game was originally not intended for distribution, but was made available to play on laptops in bars by promoters dressed up as hunters. It was soon illicitly copied, however, and became widely available for download on private websites. The publisher's initial irritation at this subsided after the game received favorable mentions in popular media and demand for it grew. From 2000 onwards the game was officially made available for download by Art Department. It became wildly popular in German-speaking Europe, to the point of being denounced in the media as a threat to the bottom line of businesses, on account of the number of hours wasted by employees playing the game.The game's success spawned a great deal of  merchandise, a comic book series, an animated TV series, several motion picture scripts (although no movie was ever made) and a BMG-produced single (Gimme more Huhn by comedian Wigald Boning). It also caused Germany's authoritative Duden dictionary to include the word "Moorhuhn".

Targets are set up in groups of 5 of each kind, with a silhouette's width between targets, laid out at the required distances for the given match. Each group of targets must be shot left to right; if a target is missed then the next shot is taken at the next target. Any target hit out of order is considered a miss. Targets are engaged in order of distance: chickens, pigs, turkeys, rams. The target must be knocked down or pushed off the target stand in order to score a hit; even a shot ricocheting off the ground in front of the target will count if it takes down the correct target. Shooters are allowed to have a spotter with them, who watches where the shots land and advises the shooter on corrections to make.All disciplines require a minimum of 10 shots at each type of target, for a minimum of 40 shots per match; normal matches are 40, 60, 80, or 120 shots. To score a hit, the target must be knocked off its stand, so each cartridge used must provide sufficient momentum to knock the heavy metal targets over. Scores are recorded as the number of hits per rounds fired, so 30 hits with 40 shots would be a score of 30x40.A tie can be broken in one of two ways: A sudden death shoot-off, used at all National and large regional competitions and for the overall match winner. Master class and AAA shooters would shoot at Turkeys, AA class shoot at Rams, A shoots at Chickens and B class shoots at Pigs. To save time and effort, a reverse animal count can also be used (number of hits on hardest animal to easiest), Whoever hits the most Turkeys would be the winner. If a tie still exists whoever hit the most Rams would be the winner. This would continue to Chickens and finally Pigs.For IHMSA competition, tie scores are broken by either Reverse Animal Count, or by Shootoffs, as determined by the match director, however, for State, Regional and International  Championships, shootoffs will be used to determine the winners in all categories and classes. For Reverse Animal Count, scores are compared starting at rams...the shooter with the most rams is the winner. This procedure is used sequentially down through turkeys, pigs and chickens. If a tie still exists, a shootoff will be used to determine the winner. Shootoffs will be in banks of 5 targets and can be any type or size, placed at any distance out to the maximum ram distance for the competition. Shooting strings will continue until all ties are broken. Sudden Death shootoffs are not allowed.

In the beginning of the plot, Victor feels that Sieg was responsible for the death of his lover and Sieg’s friend , Siela Riviere, three years ago (prior to the events in the story which take place in the mentioned time); and has the intent on bringing Sieg into a pure pandemonium that Victor himself has prepared as retribution, not only for the sins of Sieg alone, but for the sins of the whole world referring to this Armageddon as the “Purification of the World”: whereupon he plans to use relentless hordes of hideous monsters to cleanse the world of sinners by obtaining the "Three Sacred Glyphs" and releasing Azrail During his quest, Sieg encounters a member of the "Maidens of the Silver" fighting a monster alone after other Maidens are killed. With Sieg’s help, Arcia Rinslet, the sole survivor, manages to escape death.At first, Arcia mentions that the Maidens were in tough pursuit of Victor; thus, when she learns that Sieg is also searching for the same person, she decides to tag along. Later, it is revealed that Arcia has held a grudge against Victor for the murder of her brother.Sieg never tells Arcia the intentions why he pursues Victor, even though he does say the two knew each other from before. Because of this lack of trust, Arcia briefly loses her faith in Sieg and sets off to find Victor alone. Sieg eventually catches up and subsequently teams up with her once more after he consoles her.Sieg and Arcia meet Victor several times: each time to have a little more on information of Victor’s plan revealed, but unavailable of stopping him from obtaining the Three Sacred Glyphs.Soon, Sieg and Arcia finally meet Victor in the “Hall of Chaos”the place where Azrail has been sealed Victor decides to “punish” Sieg first: by killing Arcia forcing her to do it with her own gun after gaining manipulation over her body, since it seems that she is close to Sieg. The murder fails, unbeknownst to Sieg, who lashes out and attacks Victor because he believes Arcia to be dead. After subduing Victor, Sieg learns that Arcia survives the shot, only to find that Victor is not fully defeated.Surrounded in black aura, Victor attacks Sieg once again, but Arcia steps in between Sieg and Victor with her arms outstretched. Instead of killing her, Victor stops abruptly and regains his right mind; a flashback then takes place back in time, which reveals the truth of the past: Three years before, Sieg, Victor and Siela were instructed by the Order to reseal the demon Azrail discovering in reality, that the Order planned to use Azrail’s power for world dominance, but realized that was too powerful to contain. EGS has been melding sprite animated characters on 3D polygonal backgrounds for quite some time with their previous releases. Compared to Duo Princess, one of EGS' earlier releases, Chantelise features larger sprites, higher resolution textures, and noticeably more responsive controls. The scope of the game is pretty huge too. Expect to spend at least twenty hours on your first play through, plus some time to go back and get any extras you missed.The story starts off as a tale of two sisters. Their mother had always warned them never to go outside on nights when the moon is red, or else they'll be cursed by a witch. As if possessed by a force greater than herself, Chante ventures out into the forest on a night the red moon is redder than it's ever been. Worried sick about her big sister, Elise goes after Chante. The next morning, the two wake up in the middle of the forest, with something markedly different about Chante, he's been transformed into a little fairy! Elise grabs a sword and the two head out for a small village nestled amongst ancient ruins. Word has it that somewhere amidst all these ruins is a witch. Is it the one who put the curse upon Chante? As a rofessional in the world of game development, I've always marveled at what some doujin circles have been able to accomplish. EasyGameStation is a truly remarkable group, and Chantelise achieves a level of quality that puts most of my professional endeavors to shame. This gem of an action adventure game was mostly put together by the 3 members of EGS:
